A former founder of GroundSure, Technical Director at Argyll Environmental and Product Development Director at Landmark Information Group, Chris has an unequalled track record of bringing exemplary due diligence risk reports to the market for property professionals.
Reporting to Managing Director, Stuart Pearce, Chris will take charge of GeoSmart’s exciting product roadmap as it continues to deliver reports and data for land owners, architects, developers, local authorities and infrastructure providers.
Chris said: “I am delighted to join GeoSmart at such a pivotal time. We have seen this winter how climate change is presenting real challenges for our country’s property and key operational assets. I am looking forward to help address these concerns head on with a compelling range of risk management services.”
Chris has been instrumental in leading the charge to develop innovative data reports for the legal and consultancy markets over the last decade or so. Successes include wider adoption of flood reports in the conveyancing market and delivering user-friendly environmental reports for commercial conveyancing, which became the benchmark for the industry.
Stuart Pearce, Managing Director of GeoSmart added: “Chris is a natural and excellent addition to our rapidly expanding team. We are starting 2016 in great shape, following our recent rebranding to GeoSmart. It has been very encouraging to see more clients coming to us serious about sustainable environmental thinking. Chris will be focused on ensuring our reports and services meet their needs and address crucial property risk management issues.”
