GeoSmart are excited to announce we will be presenting our RIBA approved CPD session on Understanding Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) at RIBA’s CPD Roadshow in London on 30th January 2020. This is the first time GeoSmart will be appearing at the event, following our range of CPD sessions being RIBA approved in October.
Our SuDS session is one of our most popular CPD topics, introducing the principles of sustainable drainage systems including what they are, how they work and why they’re needed. It also provides an overview of the guidance regarding SuDS, how it could affect property developments and the help that is available for implementing SuDS, such as GeoSmart’s own range of SuDS reports. Examples and case studies are presented.
The session is targeted at property developers, planners, architects, commercial property lawyers – anyone involved in the process of property transactions, management, development and planning; therefore, the RIBA CPD Roadshow is the perfect event to advise on SuDS guidance and showcase our knowledge.
RIBA CPD Roadshow events are a great opportunity to reach a large audience of regional architects and construction professionals.
The London event is expected to attract up to 180 delegates.
GeoSmart’s slot on SuDS will begin at 3pm, lasting 45 minutes followed by 15 minutes of question and answers. We’ll also be available in the lobby at our dedicated stand to discuss our CPD session as well as other environmental constraints delegates may face with projects, such as contaminated land issues and flood risk.
If you’re a RIBA chartered professional and wish to attend the Roadshow, you can sign up on RIBA’s website. If you can’t make it on the day, GeoSmart are always happy to discuss your training needs – please contact us if you believe your company may benefit from a CPD session on any of our available topics.
