GeoSmart Position – Principal Drainage Consultant

Geosmart deliver specialist advice on flood risk, drainage and contaminated land to support property professionals, developers and asset managers. We have established a significant pipeline of work within the property sector and want to expand our capacity for detailed drainage design.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with enthusiasm and ambition to lead and develop our sustainable drainage team. We are seeking a candidate with a strong background in sustainable drainage, preferably with a masters in Civil Engineering (or equivalent), Chartership and an understanding of the planning and development market. A minimum of seven years’ experience of working in industry is preferred, either as a consultant or directly for a Local Authority
The role will include technical oversight and review, training of junior team members, and input to the development of new products and services. Good project management and client relationship skills are required.
You will be part of the senior team reporting to the Operations Manager and Managing Director. Salary will be highly competitive and commensurate with experience, including the opportunity to participate in the company bonus and share option scheme. You will grow the revenue from our drainage reports and increase the team capacity.
