Desktop Study, Site Walkover
The EnviroSmart Plus Report is designed to assess whether a site has potential contamination issues, state who and what is at risk, and outline the solutions available.
Our contaminated land consultants assess available environmental data and historical mapping to determine the risk level based on regulatory guidance, professional judgement, and years of experience.
EnviroSmart Plus includes all the features of the EnviroSmart Report with the addition of a site walkover survey undertaken by a qualified consultant.
This report is recommended for sites that have a commercial or industrial history and where a more sensitive end-use is proposed (e.g. residential). Your Local Authority may also request a site walkover regardless of previous land use.
The report provides clear and pragmatic advice regarding the nature and potential significance of contamination hazards which may be present.
They are the most cost effective way to meet local authority planning conditions.
If your site has a more complicated planning history or the Local Authority have their own planning history requirements for such a report, you may require our EnviroSmart Pro report which includes a more detailed review of planning history.
